Our story: each Jerimani creation is uniquely handmade in South Africa with care and precision. The Jerimani Seshoeshoe range is Thambo's vision of nature, in vibrant, royal colours. In Shona culture, blue represents  the spiritually divine, as an extension of sky and water. Nature binds us as communities, forms the backdrop for our time spent together, whether in the throng of the city or tranquility of countryside.

The shweshwe fabric, hand-selected from markets in both Johannesburg and Harare, is manufactured using acid discharge and a copper roller printing technique on pure cotton calico. The intricate designs are created using 'picotage', a pinning fabric printing technique rarely used in contemporary fabric design due to its complexity and expense. The result is unique patterns across each piece of fabric. Each table cloth is sewn by hand in Thambo's central Johannesburg workshop by her wonderful family, under her experienced guidance and focus on exceptional quality, before making its way to London and beyond.

Shweshwe fabric is naturally stain resistant due to the calico treatment in creating the fabric: stains should wipe away with a cloth and warm water. Should a wash be required, handwashing or machine wash on delicate setting.
